Healthy Eating Week 2022

This week students took part in a range of healthy eating week activities, from preparing and making a chick pea curry, creating smoothies, making their own potato wedges, vegetable crisps and healthy roasted snacks. In the mornings students from across the Academy had the opportunity to start the day with a different smoothie each morning, we had mango and coconut, a 2 minute berry breakfast and a citrus based sunshine smoothie. 

Students attending the after school sessions were also given their own overnight oats and shown how to make healthy breakfasts.

The week was a lot of fun and students enjoyed preparing and making the healthy foods as well as trying the smoothies for a healthy start to the morning.
