Year 9 Open City Workshop

On Thursday 09/03/23 Year 9 Art students participated in a workshop run by Open City. Open City’s Accelerate programme equips young people from under-represented backgrounds with the skills to pursue careers in architecture and city-making professions.

Students were asked to choose between the themes of Green Spaces and Spaces for Young People. They then worked in small groups to create models of their ideas in a variety of different papers and card.

It was great to see their ideas for more teenage focused cities.
